Cape Town embodies multiple cultures and identities. With a rich history with strong European influences since 1652, the city has also established itself as a prime cultural destination in Africa with the rise of new designers, the opening of the continent’s largest contemporary art museum in 2017 (Zeitz MOCAA), and a plethora of art galleries.
