In the case of open registration trips, it is mandatory to pay a supplement for a single room use; unless another participant agree to share a room with you.

Payments must always be made within the deadlines established before and it’s necessary to confirm the reservation. If the trip includes a flight, to ensure its emission, you will have to pay 100% of the price when you book it. For the rest of grownd services, you can establish different deadlines which will be duly informed according to each particular case. As a rule, a% will be required to secure the reservation and the rest will be paid in different installments, always before the trip.

In addition to credit cards, we accept other payment methods such as debit cards, PayPal (with fees) or bank transfer. Ask us what best suits your needs.

For each trip we inform you about the specific cancellation policies with the corresponding deadlines. If it is for a major reason and it is possible to cancel the insurance, it will cover the losses.

It depends on the company, class or fare selected. Generally, it is not possible to change the ticket without paying additional fees.

We try to do all the trips we offer, but in some cases the number of participants is not enough to set up the journey. In this case, with enough anticipation, the cancellation is communicated to the employees and the deposit is refunded 100%.

We will give you concrete advice depending on the trip, the time of year and the expected temperature, but in general we recommend a practical and comfortable to walk. Taking a rain suit is recommended in general.

Keep all your luggage well identifiable and firm and never lose sight of your belongings. Do not keep valuables in checked luggage; it is better to bring your money and important documents in your hand luggage, in addition to the medications that may be needed during the trip. It is best to bring photocopies of all your documentation and leave it at the hotel, so that in case of theft, it is easier to renew them.

During the preparation of the trip, all kinds of useful information will be provided depending on the destination and the time of year. In this way, there will be no confusion and you will have clear and precise information.

Airlines require the presentation of the passport or identity card of all passengers to identify the identity of travelers. The necessary document depends on the destination: for example, between countries belonging to the Schengen area the identity card is required but you can also use your passport. For the rest of the international destinations you will need your passport. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us!
In hotels you will also need to present your ID (passport, ID card) to do the check-in.

Remember that it is your responsibility to inform yourself in advance and to comply with the necessary conditions to enter the country of destination (passport in good standing, visa, vaccinations required if there are etc., etc.). Right to any type of reimbursement in the event of denied boarding for non-compliance with the requirements.

Generally, this will depend on the flight. In general, in the companies the weight of the luggage varies between 20 kg and 23 kg per passenger, and 6-10 kg in the cabin (and, in the cabin, their measurements must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm .) On low cost or low cost flights, in most cases the luggage is not included in the price of the ticket but can be included. If Artchitectours acts as a mediator, you will always receive all the necessary information, but we advise you to always confirm the baggage conditions directly with the airline to obtain more complete information.

It is strongly recommended that you have reliable support for any health problems, accidents, lost luggage or any problem that might occur during the trip. We therefore always recommend taking out travel insurance. In many of our packages, we include it and in the case of personalized trips, we offer it in case the traveler does not have one. In addition, we offer optional cancellation insurance if the customer can not travel due to an unforeseen event. Thus, for a justified reason, the insurance covers the value of the contracted trip.

At Artchitectours, we recommend that you consult your bank to inform you of the fees that apply to withdrawing money in another country. There are banks that charge nothing and others that charge very high rates. You must consult the withdrawal commission (it can be a fixed or a%) and the exchange rate that applies to you (find out if it’s the market or add a%).
If the conditions are good with your card, the easiest thing is to withdraw directly to the destination. If this is not the case, it is best to change your currency for the local currency, but where is it more convenient to do it? Normally there is a better exchange rate when you arrive at the destination and it is better not to change a large amount in the exchange offices of the airports, there you will have the opportunity to look for foreign currency exchange offices.

Unless otherwise indicated, generally, the price of the trip is the use of the shared room with another person included in your booking (with a double bed or two twin beds depending on your preference). Therefore, if the participant does not provide a roommate, it will be mandatory to pay for the individual room supplement that we specify for each trip.

If the nominee registers alone but wants to share a room to save that additional expense, the agency will try as much as possible and, if requested, will complete the room with another person of the same gender who would also like to share.
In any case, Artchitectours undertakes to insure it. The commitment is limited to the extent that there are other candidates under the same conditions. Therefore, if the room can not be completed, it will be necessary to pay the amount of the room supplement for individual use.

Remember that some destinations require the payment of the so-called “tourist tax”, “local tariff” or similar and that sometimes it is not possible for us to pay it to agencies. These are supplements that the hotel charges at the destination and that are sometimes paid directly to the booked property. If your reservation is subject to this rate and it is paid directly to the hotel, we will notify you during the booking process.
