Berlin is an indispensable model in Germany, Europe and the world with its german architecture. Its influence stands out in the fields of technology, commerce, and politics. Welcoming, quirky and exquisitely human, it is a city to explore and lose yourself in its infinite charms.
The violent historical changes that have taken place in recent years are apparent in the city’s image. This makes Berlin stand out as a European city, with its enormous fractures and scars. However, with “spaces” that are not only urban but also cultural in terms of experimentation, Berlin is being reinvented by a new “creative” generation.
What has characterized Berlin is that every historical era (from the Empire, to the vanguard, fascism, war, post-war division and reunification) has tried to convert it into something different than before. These constant ruptures have created a city – an architectural laboratory- where all these diverse positions from the last century are present.
